bl obl obl obl ob... one of the most chilling sentences that I've seen in a horror game.
i got into the escape pod right as my helmet broke. but i guess getting my suffocated corpse out of this damned station still counts as a valid escape.
I love this weightlessness that you created!
What do you call the creatures
I included ISA @ 14:04 (and a clip at the very beginning). Pretty incredible amount of dread conveyed through flashing lights over unseen enemies in adjacent rooms.
"They are inside the bodies" one of the eeriest sentences that I've seen in a horror game. (O . O)
I love the big long guy, very grateful for him. I'm sorry I killed him so much at first... I was scared
@Stuffed_Wombat, you are the best, this game is pure rad, but the pseudo-randomness of the dynamics in it, just brings me to frustration. It particularly shines when transitioning to another room and enemies jump out from behind the edge of visibility, without leaving the chance to ever be spot beforehand. It asks to be done something about.
EDIT:
The game is hard to access with the scroll-down puzzle already at the intro/credits, it may actually turn a lot of people off, suggesting the thing is broken.
hey thanks!
yeah, i fucked up some of the bigger picture design with this one!
i dont rly have time to fix it rn tho :)
thanks for the feedback!!
cheers,
josh
The game is neat as a piece of art anyway. I guess what we do is like having pictures taken. It is a record of merits and flaws. I do understand you want to move doing some other projects, explore yourself. It is good though to mind that a puzzle making it harder to enter the game is unnecessarily the best idea, unless you want to actually turn some people away. Speaking of the enemies issue that I mentioned, the difficulty balance is always a dispute, but this time, the problem appears to dwell in the mechanics, I am afraid, which makes it a deeper kind of problem, associated with how the game is built in the first place.
i dont agree but thats ok :)
thanks for all your feedback!
This was quite difficult but so fun! The art style was great and the creatures you've created were very creepy and I didn't like how that long creature followed you around. All in all a great atmosphere with the music to really make you feel like you're lost in space :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
yo I liked the game but I didn't get the game and the control's were a bit funky
and hard except that I liked it
huh yeah, these seem to be common issues :/
the goal is to actiavte the doors & then escape. there are arrows in the rooms that point to where you have to go :D
hope this helps (if not hmu again ^^)
tnx for explaining
